What got you into Crypto?
To be honest, I never had experience with crypto before. I thought it was a parallel world for me, and I was not ready to participate in it.
Soon I understood that this is the future for the whole world and I must get in contact with the crypto industry, but I did not have a clue how exactly I should do that and when it could happen.
One day I got a message from your developer Ivo about a free position for QA. I was really pleased that life presented me with such an opportunity to be involved in the crypto domain.
What excites you the most about this industry?
My experience has been collected from different kinds of areas — systems for hospitals, casinos and betting markets, learning platforms, and other kinds of projects. And if I have the opportunity to develop my skills further and learn something new, I will always catch that chance.
This industry offers a new vision of how regular things work but in a different way. The top focus in the crypto domain — from my perspective there are dynamic approaches that are developed, and a lot of rules are missing that bring the opportunity of being independent and unique in this space.
What motivated you to join Lossless?
After jumping into the crypto context, I understood that Lossless is a really needed tool for everybody who is focused on crypto and safety. One of the things that its products can do is allow to catch attacks against unsuspecting web3 projects and save time in identifying suspicious transactions. Sounded fantastic to be able to catch bad guys — feels like a magnifying glass or a radar for me.
Another important reason to join was the Lossless team. Because the base of every project is the people. The team working on this project are the most open, friendly, and expertized people I have met so far.
What makes you stand out within your field?
I want to make a perfect product for the end user and the customer. To be honest, reaching the goal, for me is important. I always have to keep in mind what is important for each of the sides in touch with developed products.
Depending on a situation of the project, I can adapt to follow a specific approach. Or I can do an audit of the competitors, use my existing background, my know-how to work with valuable feedback from the end users and provide the proper product quality that we’re chasing. This makes me flexible and focused on the direction we take.
Why do you think your work matters?
I believe that good quality of every product makes it attractive, stable, and competitive. Many things in our life are not perfect but everything can always be made better. That’s why I think that a Quality Assurance specialist should be involved in project activities where the human factor can create errors — for me to spot them in time and minimize potential setbacks.
