Great news, everyone! Lossless team is growing — we have new members to introduce to you. Please meet Matas, who is our new Operations Manager and Luciano, our newest addition to the tech team as a Software Engineer. Welcome to the team!
Lossless is growing both in goals for DeFi security and in momentum as a company so more hands are an obvious necessity. We asked Matas and Luciano a few questions to introduce them to the community. Here’s what they had to share.
Let’s start with Matas
Why are you in the crypto space?
I believe crypto has the potential to disrupt the way we look at trust, enabling a fairer and more transparent network ecosystem for payments, personal data, and digital ownership. Crypto has grown immensely from the early days of Bitcoin, and as new developments continue, we are going to see a lot more adoption and new challenges ahead. Needless to say, I’m excited to be on the frontier of what many consider to be a revolutionary technology.
How and why did you join Lossless? What’s your role?
As I was searching for my next crypto project, I knew I wanted to work with passionate and driven people. Lossless was building solutions to the constant hacking that’s happening in the crypto world, and their vision for DeFi security made complete sense to me. I joined Lossless as an Operations Manager to help with design processes, planning, sourcing, and performance improvement.
Do you have a vision for DeFi security?
Adopting multiple security features for DeFi protocols becomes the industry norm. Lossless becoming a crypto-security standard.
Any message to the community?
Thanks for being part of this journey towards safer DeFi protocols. Only together we can send a strong message to the broader crypto space that it’s time for safer DeFi protocols.
And here are Luciano’s answers
Why are you in the crypto space?
The computer revolution in the ’50s and ’60s, and the Internet revolution in the ’90s changed the world forever, allowing us to expand our knowledge, reach new scientific frontiers, and evolve as a society, enabling us to create content, communicate with one another, and even escape reality with awesome games and movies. But today we are consumers, and the platforms belong to a really small amount of people. I think the next revolution is already happening: it’s in crypto and it’s about ownership. I want to be part of this revolution!
How and why did you join Lossless? What’s your role?
I like new, interesting, and real projects in the space — solid projects with good fundamentals. When I saw that Lossless was expanding, I knew that it was the best chance not only to get involved in the crypto space as a developer but also to get involved in a project that is tackling one of the biggest problems right now — security!
I’m a Software Engineer / Frontend Dev / DApps Dev
Do you have a vision for DeFi security?
I think the last two years have proven that DeFi is here to stay. The DeFi space has created new profitable jobs, new markets, new millionaires, but also has created a space for fraudulent activities and new ways to hack and steal lots of funds. One of the next big problems to solve is security but I believe that with projects like Lossless we will make the DeFi space more just and safe for everyone.
