Last Hidden Security Committee Member: Jacek Czarnecki, Former Global Legal Counsel at MakerDAO’s Maker Foundation
We are a step away from a monumental launch — Lossless Protocol will go live and will be fully operational in protecting multiple cryptocurrencies which have implemented us so far and will do so in the future. There’s one day left for this to happen and we also have one Security Committee member left to be revealed publicly.
Our team is thrilled to introduce you to the committee’s last 9th member — Jacek Czarnecki, Former Global Legal Counsel at the Maker Foundation (MakerDAO). In simple terms, Jacek is a long-term technology lawyer specializing in crypto and web3. Multiple years of experience in various law firms, boards, associations, and more will be of exceptional value when investigating DeFi hacks. He will be joining the Security Committee in an individual capacity.
MakerDAO, where Jacek used to lead legal projects as well as execute legal strategy, is an open-source project on the Ethereum blockchain and a Decentralized Autonomous Organization created in 2014. The project is managed by people around the world who hold its governance token, MKR. Through a system of scientific governance involving Executive Voting and Governance Polling, MKR holders manage the Maker Protocol and the financial risks of Dai to ensure its stability, transparency, and efficiency.

The Security Committee plays a crucial part in the Decision-Making Body of Lossless Protocol. Comprised of industry professionals, it will be in charge of hack report investigations together with the Lossless team and exploited token’s owner.
