A former United Nations (UN) Global Expert for over ten years in the field of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), AI, Alternative data, Internet of Things, and Fintech, he has pioneered the concept of “BlockchAlot.” He is the first professional to use and explain the concept. BlockchAlot focuses on the interaction of the three main technologies of the future. Mr. Buonomo is also a consultant and board advisor for several central banks, international organizations, and corporations for cryptocurrencies, regtech, Fintech, CBDCs, Artificial Intelligence, and alternative data.
After working in the international markets for over 20 years as a senior equity banking analyst, Mr. Buonomo worked as a university professor in International Finance and Fintech. Mr. Buonomo is also a regular keynote speaker at several international conferences and webinars on topics such as blockchain technology, Artificial Intelligence, CBDCs, and Fintech.
